MidCoast Council meets on Wednesday, November 22 at 2pm to consider the traffic committee recommendations.
Early Connections, which operates out of a modified house at 33 Florence Street, made the request for parking restrictions as many of patients have a diagnosed disability or significantly delayed development. The service is a not for profit community base organisation and patients attend from the Manning, Gloucester and Great Lakes region.
The traffic committee was told appointments at the service generally are for well over an hour, and additional time is required for patients and families to return to their vehicles.
The manager requested two hour parking to cater for the patient's appointments.
