The event will include a tour of the school’s farm and an explanation of what students do.
Visitors will be shown the livestock the school has on the farm and how students prepare them for shows and work with them.
There will be a demonstration of how to milk a cow and fun activities for children including collecting eggs, petting and feeding the small farm animals.
The school plans to have as many exhibitors as possible to showcase their individual services or products on the day.
All are welcome and encouraged to come along. Please wear enclosed shoes as per Department of Education requirements, as you will not be permitted on the farm without them.
To end the evening a raffle will be held and a barbecue dinner will be available with local meat and vegies grown, picked and served fresh from the farm.
Entry to this event will be via the back gate of the school on Bushland Drive.
