Three days have been set aside in March for Taree Arts Council to hold auditions for next year’s production of Les Miserables.

Lead adult roles of Jean Valjean, Javert, Marius, Enjolras, Fantine, Eponine, Cosette, Thenardier, Madame Thenardier will be auditioned on Sunday March 4 and people will be asked to sing the character’s song from the show (these will be announced at a later date).
Sunday March 11 will be for the ensemble cast. All 20 supporting roles will be chosen from the ensemble auditions, which will be conducted in a non-threatening group situation.
Children roles will be auditioned on Saturday, March 10. Little Cosette and Gavroche must be singers and age and height restrictions will apply.
All auditions will be held at the Taree Arts Council premises in Flametree Close, Taree.
Taree Arts Council will present Les Miserables at the Manning Entertainment Centre from November 2 to 18, 2018.
The show will be directed by Gayle Cameron who has also directed Mary Poppins, Cabaret, Miss Saigon and Cats.
