The round held last weekend attracted 25 starters. Initially co-ordinator Hugh McLeod was expecting 19 but there was a late rush when Rowing Australia extended the deadline. This was still down on the 2016 figure, but McLeod is confident there’ll be more entries next year.
All results have been sent to Rowing Australia and McLeod said results will be known soon. He said a number of rowers recorded personal best times.
“It went like clockwork,’’ he said.
