The winning team will play in the State finals of the Jack Newton Junior Pennants competition in Newcastle in January.
On October 29, the 15-year-old played in the last round of the Taree Golf Club championships and was named the C-grade and junior champion.

It’s been a successful year for Danny, who in early August won the single handicap matchplay championships at Wingham, beating Brad Staff in the final. He also played in the Lower North Coast representative team in the Golf NSW Zone two regional championships.
He won the 36 hole nett ahead of 95 other competitors. Danny first made the Lower North Coast team last November where they made the finals of the junior pennants competition.
