The movie scheduled to be shown is family favourite Moana, which is rated G, and can be enjoyed by all ages.
The event will kick off at 5.30, with local musicians performing, followed by the blockbuster movie which will start at sundown.
Newcastle Permanent CEO Terry Millett said Newcastle Permanent hosts what is now Australia’s largest free regional outdoor cinema program.
“Newcastle Permanent is really proud to host free Cinema Under the Stars events in some of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in regional NSW, as a way to give back to families from the regions we operate in,” Mr Millett said.
“This year we can’t wait to get back to all the other fantastic regional communities which already know and love these events.
“We encourage everyone to come down from 5.30pm to settle in and relax with a picnic and experience the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors.”
Attendance at the event is free, and more information can be found at www.newcastlepermanent.com.au/cinema.
