Harrington entrance is holding a lot of sand as well.
Both need to be free of blockage to alleviate disastrous flooding.
It is inevitable that we could experience another big flood such as 1929 and 1978.
Is it not better to take action to clear the entrance rather than have to pay out flood relief?
Strange isn't it that all rivers north of us have breakwalls either side of entrances and funds appear to be readily available for the purpose?
All local politicians please take note!
