The Multicultural Carers Day was held at Taree’s Manning Regional Art Gallery and was a great opportunity for carers to make new friends who understand life as a carer, connect with services and take some time out for fun and relaxation.
The morning was spent making felt flowers from scratch which is a very interesting and magical process.
You can’t really get it wrong, every flower was beautiful and unique.
Sam from Sweet Pea and Mamma did a great job making sure everyone ended up with a flower.
After lunch, it was time to focus on relaxing and learning how to take some time out for yourself.
Julie from Yoga at Wallabi taught some yoga practices on the back deck of the gallery.
