Students will be making some special gifts for their grandparents leading up to the day, and there will be student performances and a high tea to enjoy.
Students have been experimenting with computer graphics to see how they will look as grandparents in the future.
The school is planning to make up flower bouquets for the grandmothers who attend.
If anyone in the community has any flowers to spare, the school would love to have them.
Flowers can be dropped off at the school, or someone from the school will be available to pick them up on Tuesday. Please phone the school if you can help.

Intensive Swimming Scheme
The Lansdowne Public School intensive swimming scheme lessons will be held in week 8 and 9 of the school term.
Learning to swim is a vital skill for all children.
The School Parents and Citizens Association reflects how important learning to swim is by supplementing the cost of transport to and from the pool each day for two weeks with a donation of $1000.
A huge thank you to the Lansdowne Uniting Church Fellowship which has also supported the scheme with a donation of $800.
This will make a big difference to the cost of lessons for families.
Community Hall
The Lansdowne Community Hall trustees are always in need of volunteers to help with various tasks that are done to keep the hall in good condition.
If anyone in the community can assist in any way such as handyman talents, catering or gardening, and would like to help please contact one of the trustees.
The trustees would also like to hear from community members about what activities they would like to see at the hall.
Anyone in the community that have any particular interests that they would like to share with the community is welcome to come forward and get in touch.
The hall would be a venue to use to share those interests with the rest of the community.
There is a craft group held at the hall every Tuesday from 9.30am-3.30pm.
It would be wonderful to see the hall used on other days.
The trustees are Wayne Burns, Ron Sawyer, Rhonda Hardes, Valerie Evenden, Neville Mayers and Margaret Haddon.
Please contact any one of the trustees if you have any other inquiries.

Tickets are $25 with an early bird special if you book by October 21.
