He entertained audiences in February with his country songs and is back to perform two different country songs and an Irish folk song.
Known by Taree Arts Council audiences for his appearances in Miss Saigon, The Full Monty, Cabaret and Mary Poppins, he will sing Seven Spanish Angels, Dirty Old Town (Irish song), and Don't Rock the Juke Box.
He has been performing for the past 20 years at various country music festivals and has appeared at the Gympie Country Music Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival and Kempsey/Macleay RSL Sports and Bowling Club.
He’s also been a regular on the talent quest circuit in Taree, Wauchope, Gloucester, Newcastle, Kempsey, Gympie and Tamworth.
Alex was a member of the popular local band “Wallaby Stew" from Forster for nine-and-a-half years. and still plays regularly in the local area and the Tamworth Country Music Festival each year.
Alex is also a committee member of Taree Arts Council.
Taree Arts Council presents Spotlight on Taree Arts Council II on Sunday October 29 at 2pm and Tuesday October 31 at 11am at St Mary's Hall in Taree.
The variety concert features performances by talented members from Taree Arts Council. Light refreshments provided. Tickets, which are $20 or $25 concession, are available through Bass'n'Blues in Albert Street, Taree.
