SIX Manning cricketers have been named in the Macquarie Coast Stingers side to play in the Regional Big Bash T20 conference at Coffs Harbour this weekend.

A total of 16 regional sides from NSW country areas will play in four conferences, with the winners advancing to the finals to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Manning players named in the 13 strong are Ben Scowen (Wingham), Ricky Campbell (United), Tom Burley (United), Sam Whitebread (United), Zac Sheather (United), Ryan Williams (Taree West). Sheather returned to Manning cricket this season after a stint in Newcastle. Williams has been selected despite not playing a match this season, as Taree West had the first round bye in the Mid North Coast Premier League while the second game was cancelled due to wet weather.
David Burley from Manning is the coach.
Coffs Coast Chargers, Northern Rivers Rock and Northern Inland Bolters are the other sides involved. Macquarie will meet Inland Bolters in the opening match.
