Old Bar has not been seriously affected by this form of vandalism but early reporting and removal helps make the practice unattractive. Let’s all help to keep Old Bar attractive.
This can be done by using the MidCoast Council website or by ringing the State Government Graffiti Hotline. Before reporting, take particular notice of the exact address or location, nearest cross street, the size of the affected area, the type of medium used e.g. spray paint or marking pen and if the words or images are offensive.
Call 1800 707 125. Once you have made the first call and registered your details with them, subsequent calls will be shorter.
Get behind it and do your town a favour.
Craft at Old Bar
Craft resumes for term four today Wednesday.
The group meets at the Old Bar Soldiers’ Memorial Hall in Hall Street, from 11am until 2pm.
Please bring along your lunch, tea and coffee are provided. Cost is $4 per session, plus sometimes extra for kits, materials, when provided.
Whilst we usually have a workshop, it is not necessary to participate.
If you would like, feel free to bring along your current craft project, or perhaps just come along, have a chat and make new friends.
All ladies are welcome.

Get Your Tax Return Done
Only two more Saturday mornings left for free Tax Help in Old Bar. The program always winds up at the end of October so this is the last chance for people to make appointments for assistance with their tax returns. If you need assistance with your tax, please phone the Old Bar CTC on 6553 6677 and make an appointment with Belinda, our volunteer consultant.
