A man has been charged following a critical incident investigation at Taree.

Around 2.30am Saturday, October 14, a vehicle crashed on Cedar Party Road at Cedar Party which is between Taree and Wingham.
As a result of the single vehicle crash a 17-year-old male passenger was killed.
An 18-year-old male, also a passenger in the vehicle, was conveyed to Taree Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the car, a 20-year-old man, underwent mandatory blood and urine testing.
He was later taken to Taree Police Station and charged with dangerous driving cause death – speed dangerous, negligent driving cause death and drive while disqualified.
The man was refused bail to appear at Taree Local Court on Sunday, October 15.
A critical incident team will now investigate all circumstances surrounding the incident.
That investigation will be subject to independent review and all information will be provided to the Coroner.
