Bill has played a part in the Akoostik several times in recent years.
He was joined onstage by several musicians including Taree’s Riley Phillips, who teamed up with Bill to produce his debut EP.
Bill’s daughter Kasey is one of the headline acts at this year’s festival, alongside the Eurogliders, Russell Morris and Ella Hooper.

The three-day Akoostik festival gets underway at Wingham Showground Friday, October 13 at 5.30pm with acts including Wingsong, Soar, Waang Djarii dancers, James Van Cooper, Josh Needs, Scott Darlow and Bad Pony.
