The team played against other small schools who travelled from as far as the Northern Rivers and Tamworth to compete.
The State finals saw the Moorland side put in an outstanding effort in hot conditions to win their first game.
Unfortunately, they missed out on the win by a goal in the final game.
Each player in the team should be proud of themselves as they played as a team and proved they have the ‘Moorland spirit’.
This is the second year in a row that Moorland reached the State finals. The school thanked all parents who drove the students to matches and supported the team.
