The conference was held at the Hunter Valley Crowne Plaza on October 6-7.
The gala awards night was held on the Saturday, where Old Bar Pharmacy was named as a finalist in the community engagement of the year award.
Team members Carolyn Lean and Jess Horneman were names as finalists in pharmacy assistant of the year for Guardian Pharmacies.
Jenny Graham was named retail manager of the year, and will travel to the Gold Coast in May for the national awards, where she will be up against winners from all the other states.
“It was a lovely learning experience for all regional pharmacies who attended, with participants travelling from as far away as South Australia,” Jenny said.
The team members met with company holders talked about all the new products coming out and ways to achieve a great service standard.
