Quinn Patch has been presented with the Dame Marie Bashir Peace Award

Taree High School student Quinn Patch has been awarded the Dame Marie Bashir Peace Award by the National Council of Women (NCW) NSW.

The award honours the example set by long-time member of NCW NSW, Dame Marie Bashir, when she was Governor of NSW.  

The principal of each school is invited to nominate one student whom they consider has made a significant contribution to harmony or social justice through displaying leadership in fostering harmonious relationships and peace.
