The fundraiser is dedicated to the memory of Taree local Bryson, who passed away from a form of cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma in 2012 when he was 19 years old.
Along with the trivia, both a live and a silent auction will run on the night, with a goal to beat the $50,000 raised through the last big fundraiser, the 2013 BRYSON CHALLenge.
Since the moment Bryson was diagnosed with cancer, RedKite supported both him and his whole family. This support was greatly appreciated, especially by Bryson’s sister Louise.
“They provided unconditional support emotionally, physically and financially, and we cannot thank them enough for everything they have done,” she said.
“Bryson was a generous, loving, big hearted kid who was quickly growing into an admirable young man. He was someone we never want forgotten.
“We invite everyone to join in the celebration and memory of Bryson’s life, and to raise much needed funds for RedKite by donating services, products, sponsoring a table or simply buying tickets to attend the event.
“All sponsors and prize donors will be recognised, and we would be most grateful if you would be able to assist us with any of the above or even if you have any other ideas on how you might be able to assist our cause. No support is too small.”
