Fruit and veg, orchids and bonsai trees, cattle and chooks, costumes and cakes are just a few of the highlights of day one at the 139th Taree Show, which kicked off Friday, October 6.
Family Fun Day got underway bright and early, with plenty to see, eat, touch and smell.
With the judging of arts and crafts, cakes, vegetables and plants, there is plenty to look at down at the Taree Showground.
The show runs for three days across the weekend, wrapping up on Sunday night.
Coming up over the next few days is the crowning of the Taree Showgirl, grand parade, racing pigs, and many more exciting events.
With food, rides, games and fun, the show promises to be a great family activity.
