Manning Valley Push for Palliative chairperson Judy Hollingworth is appealing for contributions to the fundraiser from the community.
“We would love to have donations of items that we can auction, offer as prizes or put on the menu at the garden party,” Ms Hollingworth said.
“The more inventive, unusual or valuable items we have, the more fun we can have with our auctions and other events and of course we want as many people as possible to attend.”
Music will be performed on the day by All That Jazz, ‘Hats’ Lewis and the Wingsong Community Choir.
Last year’s garden party was the first major event for the group. It helped raise $7000.
“The community really supported us. And we want to do even better this year,” Ms Hollingworth said.
It will be held once again at 57 Bohnock Road, Bohnock from 1pm to 4.30pm and will be officially opened by Myall Lakes MP Stephen Bromhead.
MidCoast Council mayor David West has also been invited to attend.
