At a 'Scraps to Soil' workshop you'll learn how to get started with composting and worm farming to turn your kitchen and garden scraps into amazing food for your garden and soil!
The workshops include information on the value of composting, setting up, managing and maintenance of a compost bin or worm farm, how to use compost and trouble-shooting.
Complete the workshop and you’ll be ready to create your own fantastic compost at home.
Tickets are normally $20, which covers the cost of attending and take-home equipment, but there are five free tickets up for grabs. Enter the Scraps to Soil competition on the MidCoast Council Facebook page for your chance to win a place at one of the upcoming workshops.
It’s free and easy to enter, and your garden will thank you for it.

The competition ends at midnight on Thursday, October 12.
