MidCoast Libraries will be hosting author Dr Shane Pascoe to talk about his new book "Sleep Better - the science and the myths".
Come along at 6pm to Forster Library on Wednesday 20 September or Taree Library on Thursday 21 September to hear more from Shane on the book he has co-authored with Professor Graham Law.
In 2010 there were an estimated 1.5 million Australians (8.9 per cent of the population) with sleep disorders, according to the Sleep Health Foundation. These figures not only represent a high economic cost to Australians (with health care costs estimated to be around $818 million in 2010) but human and social impacts are also significant.
