Fourth placed Taree tackle fifth placed Wallis Lake – the defending champions at Omaru from 2.45 at Omaru in the elimination semi. Taree clinched fourth position by thrashing Kempsey Saints in the final competition round played on Saturday. Three teams, Port United, Taree and Wallis Lake finished on the same points, with placings decided on goal differential.
The reserve grade match will feature Taree against Port United from noon.
At Port Macquarie in the qualifying semi Port Saints will meet Port United in a local derby at 2.45. Winner will clash with minor premiers Macleay Valley in the major semi with the loser to meet either Taree or Wallis Lake in the minor semi next week.
Reserve grade’s qualifying semi will be between Macleay Valley and Tuncurry-Forster from noon. Here the winner advances to the major semi against Kempsey Saints.
