Hearing impaired residents of the Manning Valley are being asked to search for their old hearing aids and to donate them to Quota during August.
The request forms part of Quota's promotion and support of National Hearing Awareness Week during the last week of August.
The hearing aids will be refurbished to assist hearing impaired people in Fiji.
This initiative began in 2002 and has helped many hearing impaired adults and children in Fiji to hear.
Quota is known for its work to assist women and children and in particular, individuals who are deaf, hearing impaired and speech impaired.
Collection boxes are located at Guardian Pharmacy in Manning Mall Taree, Michael Kent Priceline Pharmacy in Victoria Street Taree,Terry White Chemmart Pharmacy at Taree City Central, Chatham Pharmacy, Old Bar Pharmacy, Coopers Pharmacy at Wingham Plaza, Manning Audiology Centre in Clarence Centre, Taree and Australian Hearing Services at Access Health Taree.
If you are unable to drop them off at any of the above points, collection from your home can also be arranged by phoning Bev on 6553 8738.
