In this version, Snow White has a good heart, but she’s an ungraceful, rough-around-the-edges tomboy.
Still, she wants to please her father, the king, when he returns with Vilenity, his bride-to-be.
Unknown to Snow, her future stepmother is a witch with designs on the kingdom.
When the Magic Mirror reveals to the witch that Snow will inherit the kingdom, Vilenity sends her henchmen to do Snow in.
Of course, Snow escapes, seeking refuge at a cottage with seven... fairy godmothers! They’re all trapped there by an earlier spell that Vilenity cast on them, and now Snow is stuck in the cottage with them.
Time is ticking. How will Snow get out of the cottage and save her father and the kingdom from the evil Vilenity?
And what is Rosamond aka Sleeping Beauty doing in this story?
Snow Off-White is a magical adventure with a contemporary twist which will delight all ages.
Performances will be held in the school hall (Princess Street, Cundletwon) on Thursday, August 3 and Friday, August 4 at 7pm. Tickets are $10 each or $25 for four, available at the school office or at the door. For more information contact Mrs Lloyd at Manning Valley Anglican College on 6553 8844.
