Red Rovers under 12s rugby league teams had a convincing 34-14 win over Wauchope at the Taree Recreation Centre.

Xavier Wells played a strong game in both attack and defence for the Rovers as did Cooper Turner who proved hard to handle up the middle all game. Blair and Will Hamilton both provided much needed strength in our defensive line.
The six tries were scored by Shaun Weldon (2), Connor Latham (2) and Jason Donovan (2) who ran hard to get their try-scoring doubles.
Next week we have a catch up game at Forster against the Hawks.
Under 13s
CLUB Taree Red Rovers under 13s met Wauchope. Rovers had a flying start with couple quick tries. Brad Brincat had his best game of the year and was awarded player of the match.
Logan Williams, Mhalikai Mercy, Kyle Cochrane, Hayden Delaney and Jedd Pratt were busy for Rovers in their 48-0 win.
Under 15s
Club Taree Red Rovers under 15s played two games this weekend.
Saturday’s game saw the Rovers take on Port City Breakers.
Rovers came away with a solid win 50-0 although the score line didn't reflect the effort Port put in. With only 13 players they never stopped trying.
Sunday's game was a catch up game with Wauchope Blues
This game was sure to be a cracker as both teams pride themselves on defence.
Rovers came out firing in the first half and shot out to a commanding 28-0 score line at the break. The break must have worked in Wauchope's favour as they came out full of energy and were rewarded with two tries.
Rovers defence held strong as Wauchope had most of procession in the second half and held on to win the match 28-12.
