Turner took out the 200 metres in world record time earlier in the week. He then dominated the 400 metre final, winning in 54.27, setting a new Australian record.
Krzsztof Ciuksak from Poland was second in 55.19 while New Zealand’s Keegan Pitcher claimed the bronze in 55.23.
Turner, 21, will now go for a third gold in the 800 metres – an event he won at the Rio Paralympics in world record time last year – on Monday morning Australian time.
