The book is a historical novel based in the 17th century on the Earl of Strafford.
Ex mayor, Paul Hogan, and the Manning Valley Historical Society’s Barbara Waters, were among the guests.
Terry filled his audience in on the background to his novel and also made special mention of his wife Christine, who he said read and checked all the pages for him.
