“I’ve told them to forget about Wednesday night,’’ Bartley said.
The sides clashed in a game postponed from May at Port midweek, with the Wildcats stunning Saints with a 5-1 win after leading 2-0 at the break.
This is the second time the Wildcats have beaten a top two team following on the 1-0 result over Macleay Valley earlier this month.
However, Bartley said Wednesday’s win will count for nothing tomorrow.
“Saints will be a different team on Saturday,’’ he said.
“They’ll have something to prove.’’
The Wildcats came through the clash with no injury concerns and will field an unchanged lineup as they look to consolidate a place in the top five. This will be the third game the side has played in a week after meeting Wallis Lake and Saturday and Saints on Wednesday.
