"Piecing it Together" is a collaborative workshop led by artist Deborah Kelly (live-streamed from The Netherlands) and curator, Bec Dean where participants are invited to reconfigure images from The Patient.

The workshop will run 1pm to 4pm on Saturday July 15 and Sunday July 16.

Although free to attend, bookings are essential as there are limited spaces. Contact the gallery, at 12 Macquarie Street, Taree, to book (phone 6592 5455).

Materials will be provided.

Participants are encouraged to bring some of their own sourced collage imagery/ photographs/ textual material to collage with.

The exhibition The Patient will close at the gallery this Sunday.

It delves into the very essence of the human condition this winter, with an examination of illness and disease, health and the health sciences in its new exhibition "The Patient", featuring artists drawn from Australia and the world, past and present.

Manning Regional Art Gallery is the first in regional NSW to host this exhibition.

Being ill and recovering, living with chronic disease, or caring for those who do, forms part of everyday life, making The Patient an experience we can all relate to.
