The art is overwhelmingly warm and welcoming, a refreshing change in the field of modern art.
Ela’s artwork can be enjoyed by all comers.
While works are semi-abstract/impressionist, the viewer cannot help but sense and identify with familiar Australian landscapes and forms.
Her inspiration and drive is fuelled by her connection with and understanding of environmental and social issues and the desire to bring nature and humans closer together.
Ela has received accolades from around the world including being published as one of the 2016 Top 60 Masters of Contemporary Art by Art Tour International magazine.
I stand alone in my studio, spending my time dreaming of how my Universe should be, then daring to share that dream with you of a beautifully colorful, loving and inclusive world.
- Ela Mierzecka-Pain
This year, Ela was awarded a Goya International Award in Barcelona.
Her work is also published in a book Inspirational Art.
This exhibition represents an opportunity to not only view Ela’s wonderful art but to meet the artist in person.
Ela lives in Coomba Park and adores the Great Lakes area.
When the wind is up, you will most likely find her windsurfing with her family and friends on Wallis Lake.
She is also studying criminology at university.
The exhibition opening is at 5 pm on Friday, and will be open on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm.
