MidCoast Council will take over the functions and operations of MidCoast Water from July 1, 2017.
This was gazetted in NSW Government today.
The government gazette read:
DAVID HURLEY, Governor I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC ASC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 397 of the Local Government Act 1993, do hereby declare that on and from the beginning of 1 July 2017 MidCoast County Council is dissolved with its functions and operations subsumed by Mid-Coast Council in line with the provisions in the schedule below.
A statement from MidCoast Council is expected this afternoon.
