Many found this challenging, however, not Bob Bruce. Tigers’ oldest player grew up playing on grass, and he made plenty of clean traps and nice solid hits and produced great defence in the fullback position alongside Troy Medcalf and Darren Aitken.
Tigers’ keeper Bayden McIntosh made some great saves. Mid fielders found it a little difficult to control the ball with the bounce on the grass.
Attackers Greg Clark, Jordyn McIntosh, Kayne Chester and Ethan Hill played well, working together giving Tigers opportunities. Troy Medcalf scored the first goal for Tigers and Gloucester notched one to make it 1-1 all at halftime. Tigers took the field in the second half in a positive manner, but it was almost a replica of the first half with Troy Lewis scoring for Tigers and Gloucester responding to make the final score to 2-2.
