Hunter went through the three day tournament undefeated scoring a 4-2 victory in the final against South Coast. This is the second year in a row that Hunter has taken out the State title after the 2016 victory at Wollongong
Lara Watts, Tahni Walters, Bree Pensini (Taree HS), Jaime Hemmingway, Morgan Coleman, Grace Coleman (Wingham HS) and Priya Bourke (Chatham HS) were members of the victorious Hunter side.
Jaime Hemmingway was named in the State CHS open girls team following the Championships to play against the State Combined Catholic Colleges and State Independent Schools teams later this year.
