Manning Valley Community Gardens, behind the Old Courthouse in Farquhar Street, Wingham, are holding a Bees Wax Wrap Workshop on July 1.
With plastic pollution now an ever-increasing global dilemma, bees wax wraps are an eco-friendly, reusable alternative to plastic clingwrap that cannot be recycled.
Ready-made bees wax wraps can be expensive to buy, so here’s a chance to learn to make your own.
The workshop is being held at the Community Gardens on Saturday, July 1 from 1-3pm. Cost is $30 per person and you take home five wraps.
