Jessica Burns, has been accepted after a tough trial process into the Football Mid North Coast under 12s girls squad for the 2017 Kanga Cup.

The NSR Kanga Cup is the largest international youth tournament in the Southern Hemisphere. It is held annually each July in Canberra.

Harley Clarke from the under 11 Barbarians has been selected to be part of the Northern NSW State titles squad for the Telstra boys state cup. 

This is an important identification tournament for FMNC elite player's pathway.

Under sixes 

OLD Bar Devil under sixes played a great game at Old Bar against Lansdowne Cubs. Alex Masterton gained the encouragement award for good defence and scoring two goals.

Under sevens 

THE under 7 Barbarians played a great game at Old Bar against the Taree Pumas. Declan Ives was awarded player of the match for scoring two goals and playing his heart out. 

Under nines 

OLD Bar 9 under nine Gladiators faced off with Tinonee  Eagles everyone played their hardest with an 11-1 win. Goals scored by Koby Jones, Lev'i Dorward, James Tani, Darcy Seach and Brock Devaney.

Our goal keepers- Darcy Seach and Michael Hill saved some hard hits and our defensive line Toby Holley, Michael Hill, Denver Purdon and Jake Budden kept the ball out of their goal and some big kicks up to the midfielders. McDonald's player of the match went to Koby Jones for his on point goals and Bakers Delight award to Brock Devaney for some great passes.

Under 11s 

WEEK four and wow, the under 11 Barbarians were on fire. Their defence and passing was been wonderful. This week the Barbarians played Taree Jaguars at Old Bar. 

Caid Van Wyk was awarded player of the match with the great passes and staying in position for the game and the manager’s choice award went to Harley Clarke for an outstanding game with great defence. Keep up the great work 11 Barbs. 

Under 16s

OlLD Bar's 16s had an uphill battle against a strong Tinonee team at Old Bar. The Barbarians were missing four of their regular players and some reshuffling was necessary. The team was lucky to go into the break 1-0 up thanks to a spot kick converted by Mitch Worth. Tinonee came out firing in the second half, with Old Bar holding on to their slender lead thanks to some fantastic finger tip saves from keeper Patrick Moses. Tinonee's keeper was equally tested- shutting down some great forward runs and thwarting many strong shots on goal. In the last 15 minutes of the match the tide turned and Old Bar managed to put away another two goals with Mitch Worth slotting away a great shot to the top right corner and Jedd Clarke turning the keeper to make it 3-0. Old Bar's backline kept their first clean sheet with Sam Deehan, Trai Bernasconi, Sampson Hillyard and players’ player Justin Romeo providing some fantastic support and were instrumental in shutting down Tinonee's fast forwards. The team heads to Green Point next week in another tough match up but are keen to continue their unbeaten run.
