We talked with Mario about the business and what the future holds.
MRT: How long has your business been operating?
MT: We have been operating since November 2015
MRT: What is the purpose of your business?
MT: We are a family owned and operated business with dealerships in Taree and Forster, with over 30 years’ experience in the motor industry selling new and used cars.
Mid Coast Automotive Group is a complete service dealer with manufacturer compliant service facilities, genuine parts and accessories as well as a great range of official manufacture merchandise.
Importantly our service centre is staffed by factory trained technicians and utilizes the most modern technology available to ensure years of trouble free motoring for our customers.
Our used car department carries a selection of the regions finest pre-owned vehicles most of which have been sold by us and locally owned.
MRT: What does this nomination mean to you and your business?
MT: The win is recognition for the efforts of my team in delivering excellent customer service and business growth.
MRT: How many staff members do you have and what do they do?
MT: We have 50 employees. They sell cars, fix and service cars, sell spare parts, clean cars, and do the necessary paperwork and administration. But most importantly they look after our customers.
MRT: What are the top three services you offer your customers?
MT: We sell new Ford, Nissan, Kia, and Isuzu Ute as well as a huge selection of used cars. We have a great service department that will service all makes and models. We sell genuine factory parts as well as non genuine parts and accessories
MRT: What is the secret to your success?
MY: Great people, great products, and great pricing of services we offer our customers. We all work very hard to deliver a great experience to all our customers. We always try to be warm, friendly, and professional.
MRT: What are the future directions or goals for your business?
MT: To keep on improving on what we do every day. Kaizan is a Japanese term for continual improvement. We plan to grow the business even further and create more happy customers
MRT: Is there anyone you would like to thank or acknowledge?
MT: I would like to acknowledge my staff and partners for all their hard work and efforts. It is my staff that have made this award possible.
