Recently Jenny Michael was presented with a certificate and a beautifully engraved pen to celebrate her great achievement of reaching the level of Grand Master, the first player at Taree Bridge Club to do so.

During a break in play Jenny cut her celebration cake.
The club’s Swiss Pairs Congress, held in April, was another success with 60 players coming from Newcastle, Sydney, Central Coast, Port Macquarie, Tamworth and Forster.
This event has become a popular addition to clubs’ calendars as the standard of play and the renowned hospitality of Taree club make it an enjoyable day.
Taree Bridge Club’s next celebration will be marking 10 years in our own premises in Pitt Street, Taree.
