Salvation Army volunteers will be at the store over the weekends from May 13 to May 28 to give customers an opportunity to make a donation.
Community relations director for the Salvation Army Brain Hallett hoped record funds would be raised this year.
“Anyone and everyone can make a significant difference to someone’s life, whether it is a Taree and Manning Valley local doing it tough or someone on the other side of the country, by donating to our Red Shield Appeal,” Mr Hallett said.
Bunnings Warehouse Taree complex manager Scott Burns encouraged all customers and local residents to donate what they can to the cause.
“We hope everyone can make a donation and support the incredibly important community work the Salvos do across the country every single day,” Mr Burns said.
