Contiki is described by one of our volunteers as just like the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz. The wolfhound cross is more like a labrador in size at about 18 months old.

Before being surrendered he tried to make friends with some other dogs but they attacked him. He's also had a fracture in one of his hind legs, which may cause some arthritis later.
But he is healthy, and in need of some peace and love. If you show him a sofa be prepared to share. He's gets on well with other dogs and needs a family who will show him loyalty is rewarded.
His vet work is complete and as sad as it will be to see him start a new life, we will feel content that he's got that chance. Contiki's adoption fee is $300 – call 6553 7244.
