2BOB’s long running Schools Out program will continue to broadcast at 4pm weekdays while On Detention will feature a whole new group of school children.
As of next Wednesday morning, community engagement officer with Taree High School Jay Davis, will have a group of local Koori kids from Years 7 and 8 at Taree High school on air for an hour between 11am and midday.
Jay would be familiar to local music lovers and 2BOB listeners as a part of the Jay Davis Trio.
This program will be followed on Friday by the children from Year six at Taree West Primary School with more to follow.

Envirofair is coming
2BOB’s (almost) annual Envirofair is only 6 weeks away with the event to be held on Saturday, June 10 (long weekend) on the picturesque Taree Park.
This year’s Envirofair aims to be another fun filled and family friendly day with the hope of continuing to raise awareness of environmental issues and Celebrate World Environment Day.
Envirofair stall bookings have begun in so people are encouraged to get applications in soon.
