Gloucester Women’s Golf will host the event which travels around the region each year to different golf clubs from Bulahdelah to Coffs Harbour.
There will be around 90 competitors with the vast majority playing across both days.
Around 80 of them will be coming to Gloucester from clubs at Taree, Forster, Wingham, Kempsey, Sawtell, Urunga, Hawks Nest, Tallwoods and Bulahdelah.
They will be playing in groups of four, with players mixed up between all the clubs, making it a very social event.
The club will hold a dinner on the Tuesday evening along with a raffle. The proceeds of the night will be used to assist with Central North Coast junior players.
There will be two tee times each day during the event – 7am and noon. Everyone is encouraged to come and watch.
The club has received some sample donations from some mid and north coast businesses which will be given to each competitor. Women’s Golf CNC is a non-profit organisation working with clubs to provide a range of golfing experiences on a variety of courses for all levels of players.
Gloucester Women’s Golf will also be holding an Introduction to Golf Day on Friday, April 28 from 10am at Gloucester Country Club for anyone who wants to come play and give the sport a try.
