Initially it was played on Sunday because of the Group Two/Group Three representative games at Sawtell on Saturday.
However, Group Three president Wayne Bridge said the group will be down on referee numbers this weekend.
“A couple of the younger blokes will be in Newcastle for academy games,’’ he said.
“We wouldn’t have had the numbers if we played all our games Sunday. The two clubs are happy to play Saturday.’’
Old Bar has just one player, Zebastine Samuel, in the group 23s with three, Holli Wheeler, Taklea Rowsell and Teegan Rowsell in the league tag. Two Macleay players, Steve Blair and Mitchell Dixon are in the 23s with none involved in league tag.
On Sunday Taree City meets Port City at the Jack Neal Oval, Wingham will be at home to Port Macquarie while Forster-Tuncurry tackles Wauchope at the Harry Elliott Oval at Tuncurry.
