The screening at Hallidays Point Seniors Citizens Hall at Black Head on May 3 at 6.30pm highlights the raw beauty of the Queensland outback where the proposed mine site threatens essential water sources.
It portrays the fears of graziers in the area and tourist operators that potentially will lose their livelihoods and others that are engaged in the fight to stop the mine.
“I’m hosting the screening on the Mid North Coast because I’m worried about the enormous impacts of Adani’s proposed coal mine on the reef, our climate and our future,” says the coordinator for the Stop Adani Mid North Coast group
“Everyone is invited to come along to the screening and find out more about this important issue that affects all Australians”.
