Around 7.30pm on April 14, police and NSW Ambulance were called to a rock throwing incident along Bushland Drive, Taree.
A rock was thrown through an open window on a courtesy bus and struck a 37-year-old occupant.
The woman was treated for her injuries by NSW Ambulance and did not need hospitalisation.
Police said this incident had the potential to be very serious and are appealing for any witnesses to contact Taree Police.
Manning Great Lakes Police have previously arrested young persons for throwing rocks in this area of Taree.
