OLD Bar and Port Macquarie will open the Group Three Rugby League season at Old Bar on Saturday at Old Bar.

All other matches will be played on Sunday. The first competition round was set for the weekend of April 8 and 9, however, no play was possible because of on-going wet weather. These games will now be played on the June long weekend.

In the initial draw Group Three was to play Group Two in representative fixtures this Saturday. However, this has now been postponed due to the lack of football played in Group Three. All club matches were set for Sunday.

“The Pirates and the Sharks will now play on Saturday,’’ Group Three chief executive Barrie Smith confirmed.

On Sunday Taree City will host Macleay Valley, Forster-Tuncurry plays Wingham at Tuncurry while Wauchope and Port City will meet at Wauchope.
