Annie will be joined by Forster’s Wendy Wilkins and a host of players from Wauchope and Port Macquarie in the squad.
The 7s event will coincide with the NSW Country Championships at the Port Macquarie Regional Stadium, taking place April 29 and 30.
Shadow player for the Tomahawks Felicity George said the team has had quality preparation heading into this weekend.
“We are being coached by some of the most incredible coaches on the Mid North Coast and we have access to strength and conditioning training based on the University of New England’s programs,” Felicity said.
The Tomahawks will contest pool one, kicking off the day at 9am against Far North Coast before taking on Central West at 11.10am.
The winner of the pool will take on the winner of pool two in the final.
