As of this Friday, Sarah and Abbey's (Tuesdays) and Nathan's (Thursdays) Schools Out shows on 2BOB Radio will be rebroadcast by Melbourne based SYN Nation.

The Student Youth Network (SYN) have been broadcasting since 2003, they launched their national digital station SYN Nation in 2014 and they receive content developed by presenters aged under 26 from regional hub stations around the country.
2BOB is very happy to have developed a relationship with SYN and look forward to working with them. If you're aged 25 and under and keen on getting involved in radio then why not come talk to 2BOB about SYN nation.
Melbourne based SYN Media offer training and skill development as well as invitations to conferences and youth media events to anyone aged 25 and under who is volunteering with 2BOB here in the Manning Valley.

Datson Hughes live at 2BOB
Queensland duo Datson Hughes have released a new EP called Whispering Highway and are playing Flow Bar Old Bar on April 7 as part of their extensive national tour supporting its release. Datson Hughes play music described as psychedelic folk and gothic country on instruments hand made by Jeffrey Datson. They are also working towards a new album in 2018.
They play in 2BOB’s Quarantine room this Friday night at 7pm for a special 2BOB’s Big Backyard show with Dave G. Listeners are invited to come into the station and check out this fascinating duo performing live on air.
