The Taree Probus Club annual changeover luncheon was well attended by members, their wives and partners, as well as guests.
In attendance were Taree Rotary president elect David Denning, Alan and Merle Richards from Taree North Probus, Kevin Buckley from Taree on Manning Probus, Margaret Paynter and Carol Jordan from Old Bar Probus and Graham and Maria Lewis from Wingham Probus.
Following a short general meeting, the annual meeting was called, with the outgoing executive giving their reports.
The president then declared all positions vacant and asked the president elect, David, to conduct the election of office bearers for 2017~2018 year.
Joining president David Walker on the executive are secretary Eric Penfold, treasurer Bill Papworth, Bulletin editor Don Sheather, welfare Graham McMorrine, membership Terry Briten, activities Graeme Drury, programs Jack May, publicity Alan Green and committee Bob Pearson.
Vacancies still exist for vice president, treasury and activities assistants, which the club hopes to fill during the year as they are vital positions for running the club.
The club is looking forward to another enjoyable year, which began with the presidents barbecue at Manning Point on March 28.
