The woman, who does not want to be named, was standing outside the front door to her Ritchie Cresent residence when she heard screeching of tires from further up the street.
The driver then allegedly lost control of a vehicle and smashed into a concrete wall at the front of her house.
Behind the wall was her prized courtyard.
Hedges, bonsai plants, a water feature and most of the wall was severely damaged.
Witnesses said two young women were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
It is unknown if they sustained injuries.
The woman conceded the site will be difficult to rebuild.
“It’s 25 years of hard labour taken out in one second.
“It’s just a total disaster and I’ll never get it back to what it was.”
Manning Great Lakes Inspector John Sullivan said an investigation into the incident will be conducted by an insurance company.
